Support Videos
Watch our video tutorials for step-by-step guidance on installing and using Log To Print DCTLs in DaVinci Resolve. From installation and setup to applying the DCTLs in your color workflow, these videos will help you get started quickly and get the most from your tools.
How to Install a DCTL
Download the DCTL file and place it in the DCTL folder used by DaVinci Resolve. On Mac, you can find it at /Library/Application Support/Blackmagic Design/DaVinci Resolve/LUT/. On Windows, use C:\ProgramData\Blackmagic Design\DaVinci Resolve\Support\LUT. After copying the file, open DaVinci Resolve and go to Project Settings → Color Management → Open LUT Folder to verify the location, then refresh the LUTs. Your DCTL will then be available in the DCTL menu on the Color page.
Grade & Restore
Grade, restore, and match your footage using one powerful DCTL. Correct Log and RAW footage, fix color and contrast, restore problematic images, and bring footage from different cameras and phones into a consistent look without building separate nodes for every function.
The support videos show practical grading examples and node setups, demonstrating how Grade & Restore can replace a complicated collection of correction tools while keeping the entire process flexible and adjustable.
Log To Print
Designed for footage shot on set with proper preparation and a controlled camera workflow. Log To Print puts the essential transformation, print, and grading tools into one DCTL, making it fast and easy to achieve a consistent look across your project.
The support videos demonstrate real grading workflows and show how to work through large numbers of clips without building complicated node trees for every stage of the grade. Spend less time managing nodes and more time refining the image.
Creative Effects Bundle
Eight creative DCTL effects for adding distinctive visual treatments directly to your footage. Each effect is designed to work as a dedicated node, giving you direct control without having to build complex effect chains.
The support videos demonstrate the effects in real grading situations, showing how to control their intensity and use them creatively within your existing node structure.
Film Look
Create a film-inspired image quickly using a single DCTL with multiple film looks and adjustable grading controls. Instead of applying a fixed LUT, you can actively shape the look and adapt it to your footage.
The support videos show different film looks in practical grading examples, demonstrating how to adjust and refine the result while keeping your node tree simple and your grade fully editable.
Lens & Atmosphere
Five DCTLs for creating optical character and atmosphere, including Bloom, Highlight Mist, Light Leak, Creative Blur, and Anamorphic Streak. Each effect gives you direct controls for shaping the intensity and character of the result.
The support videos show how these effects behave on real footage and how to integrate them into a grading workflow, from subtle optical enhancement to more pronounced cinematic effects.
Shape & Tone Bundle
A collection of DCTL tools for shaping the tonal and color character of your image, including Highlight Rolloff, Shadow Control, Duotone, Chromatic Aberration, and Color Wash & BW. Each tool provides direct control without requiring complicated node combinations.
The support videos demonstrate practical ways to use these tools in a node-based workflow, showing how to shape highlights, shadows, color, and image character while keeping the grade simple and adjustable.
